A conversation with Koby Rickertson, covering High Point Land Company and their approach to business.  We discuss how he entered the world of Real Estate, built his own company, then merged with High Point and transitioning from owner to leader.

Lou and Garth speak with Ashley McCraney, Poultry Specialist at National Land.  It's a great discussion which gives an immense amount of insight into the complex operations behind raising poultry.  It's amazing how much there is behind the scenes to raise the food we find in the grocery aisles!

 A chat with Dale Fulk, ALC and CAI from Rogers Realty & Auction in which he gives high-level information to set a foundation for providing information on current trends and outlooks for the future.

A great converation with Garret Willson of the Land.com family.  We discussed the three sites and how they are utilized to help create individually tailored solutions for selling lands and farms.  He gives an overview of his consultative approach to create strategies which drive results and increased opportunities for selling land.

A wonderful conversation with Ken Bloom.  Ken is a resident of small-town Pilot Mountain, NC with extensive knowledge of Ukrainian Culture and History; as well as a clear understanding of the current issues within the country. 

 

On the surface, it would seem we got incredibly side-tracked on this one, enamoured by Ken's unique story.  However, the land aspect IS there; interwoven within the discussions about music, instruments and their origins, and the deep history of Europe.  Either way, it was an excellent discussion for us all as well as an introduction and sample of the Bondura; an old Ukrainian intrument with many many strings.

An interesting discussion with Colter DeVries regarding Ranch Syndication.  Includes details about how he and company create Class A Units for Limited Partners, ensuring passive investor status.  At the same time, Ranch Investor has vested skin-in-the-game with Class A Units and alignment of interest with Class B Unites as the General Partner.
